Control Shoreline Erosion

Shoreline erosion is a prevalent problem amongst lakefront and riverfront property owners. In many instances wake from boat traffic will create water erosion to your waterfront shoreline. Ice erosion is another leading cause to shoreline erosion. Ice pressure during winter months will push around your waterfront shoreline on its own. A more major concern which entails erosion control measures is during the thaw of ice in the early spring when sections of ice break free and are pushed directly toward your shoreline by gusts of wind. Steel seawalls come in two different types of metal, galvanized and black steel. Shoreline erosion can be a serious issue to a waterfront property owner.
