on Manitou Lake which is situated near Owosso Michigan. Our professionals were
called out to inspect the existing wooden seawall which had begun to show signs
of failure. After careful inspection of the property owner’s situation Seaside
Seawalls discovered that the current wooden seawall timbers had only been
driven into the ground about a foot which allowed the bottom dirt to kick out
and instigate a series of breakdowns.
To improve the function of the structure, Seaside Seawall will
install a new 150′ x 4′ steel seawall that will be much more structurally
sound and will also provide a higher return on the owner’s property investment.
This steel piling seawall was the optimal choice of an alternative structure as
it will perform very well during the change of seasons.
